The Spam's off

Well, it would appear that my blogette has been judged to be kosher as I am able to access it directly today. Obviously this is a huge weight off my mind (*cough*) and no doubt the denizens of the literary world also breathe a collective sigh of relief.

Query: if I suffer from a lack of inspiration whilst writing on-screen ramblings, am I a victim of writer's-blog? (or just very very bad taste in puns?)

Day two brings wind, rain and spam blog allegations

Who knew I was such a techno-rebel? I have just been asked to request a formal review of my inoffensive and remarkably unremarkable little blog by a grown-up blog official, in order to receive some form of certification that it is not in fact spam. I was particularly amused to read the following definition:"spam blogs... can be recognized by their irrelevant, repetitive, or nonsensical text". Aside from the incorrect punctuation, I reckon that on at least two of the three counts they have me bang to rights. Hey ho. These days everyone's a critic...

Let's start at the very beginning

A very good place to start (according to Julie Andrews at least). I have the slightly uncomfortable feeling of teetering on the edge of the technological precipice... unsure whether I am jumping voluntarily or being unceremoniously pushed. First Facebook and now blogging - rather a shock to one who remembers the world before the advent of the mobile phone and the internet, and even the days when the BBC model B was the latest in computer technology. Scary how fast things change.
